After stepping up to this position nearly eight years ago, the time has come for me to step down as the current president to pursue other interests. It has been one of the most rewarding experiences I have had, and I know someone else will enjoy the challenges and rewards this position brings with it. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead/work with a variety of people. The following is a list of duties and responsibilities currently undertaken by the president:
Review and pay club insurance bills.
Work with various land managers from the BLM, Forest Service, Willamalane Parks and Recreation regarding trail projects and events on these lands.
Work with other board member positions such as trail work, PR/ Communications, and Treasurer to facilitate projects and maintain functions of the club.
