The Disciples of Dirt Mountain Bike Club (DOD) boasts members from all over the Pacific Northwest and beyond, but we focus our efforts within Oregon’s Southern Willamette Valley, where the club was founded and the majority of our membership live and ride. Club members share a high level of passion for mountain biking and the DOD is well known within the cycling world for being stewards of our local trails and champions for improved trail access for cyclists.

All Comer’s Meet 2022 – Jan. 16th

All Comer’s Meet 2022 – Jan. 16th

The rumors are true … ACM is back! After a year’s hiatus we are extremely excited to be planning the return of DOD’s most popular annual event. All Comer’s Meet is an all-ages, all-abilities, all-inclusive social ride and party held at the Carpenter Bypass Trail System (Whypass) near Lorane, OR. Looking forward to seeing all of your shiny faces again!

HOW IT WORKS
Folks will gather around 9:45 AM at the upper (south) parking lot and break into ride groups according to pace and/or skill level. Then we all head out for a fun day of cruising the Whypass trail network. Be sure to arrive at least a half hour beforehand to park, get kitted up, and sign in. After the ride, everyone hangs out at the staging area to eat, drink, win cool prizes, and enjoy the warmth of the bonfire. WHAT TO EXPECT
• Guided rides
• Raffle with amazing prizes
• Refreshments provided by local breweries
• Tracktown pizza
• Competitions and entertainment
• Local bike and outdoor gear vendors
• Post-ride bonfire

THINGS TO BRING
• Fenders… there will be mud on hand
• Camp chair… for sitting around the post-ride bonfire
• Firewood if you can (no Xmas trees please)
• Cash for… raffle tickets, cool DOD branded stuff, the DOD donation jar.

WAIVER FORMS: Everyone must register and sign a waiver in order to ride. To save time on the morning of ACM, you can click on the link below to download the 2022 DOD waiver form, then print it, sign it and bring it with you.
https://disciplesofdirt.org/…/10/DOD_INDV_WAIVER_2022.pdfDIRECTIONS: Ask The Google or your friend Siri to get you to the Carpenter Bypass Trail System in Lorane. Once on Carpenter Bypass Road, keep driving up the hill past the gravel pile until you see the South Park staging area on the left after the yellow gate. The parking lot will be closed off for the event so you’ll need to park along the side of the road. Arrive early for the best spot!

Trailwork-South Eugene

Please join us for another volunteer workday this Sunday, Dec. 5th, 10am-1pm.

We’ll be removing the organic material from the Green Room corridor, so no trail building experience necessary. If you have your own tools bring them, we’ll be using rakes, spades, rogue hoes, and McLeods. Bring water, snacks, gloves, and appropriate shoes. DoD will provide hand tools if you don’t have any.

Meet at the south end of Center way at the bottom of the new segment at 10am, we’ll hike up at 10:15.

Ridgeline Trail

MTB community got together for a day of trailwork helping with the first MTB sanctioned trail in the south hills.
