The Disciples of Dirt Mountain Bike Club (DOD) boasts members from all over the Pacific Northwest and beyond, but we focus our efforts within Oregon’s Southern Willamette Valley, where the club was founded and the majority of our membership live and ride. Club members share a high level of passion for mountain biking and the DOD is well known within the cycling world for being stewards of our local trails and champions for improved trail access for cyclists.

Trailwork-Aug.6th

Sunday, August 6th – Cloverpatch Bridge & Switchbacks:

Meet at Transcascadia building in Westfir at 8:15 am.

Trailwork

Cloverpatch Switchback – Wednesday, July 19th:

We’re going to tackle that super-nasty poison oak covered switchback on Cloverpatch trail by adding a crib wall. This improvement is crucial to make the trail more rideable for everyone. We’ll be harvesting most of the materials near the site to keep things convenient. Meet up at the Lowell Covered Bridge at 8:00 am.

Cloverpatch Connector Bridge Work – Sunday, July 23rd:

Our focus for this day will be finishing the sill pads and placing the sills for the Cloverpatch Connector Bridge. If time permits, we’ll also lift and place the first stringer onto the sills. Additionally, some of the trail crew will be working on finishing tread and rock work on corners. Meet up at the Lowell Covered Bridge at 8:00 am.

Cloverpatch Trailwork- July 9th

Sunday, July 9th we’ll be working on the next Cloverpatch Connector bridge. Right now we’re building the foundation for the bridge and hoping to get the sills and the first stringer in place. Meeting at the Lowell Covered Bridge Sunday at _8AM_ (we moved the start earlier for summer). More hands are always welcome, no experience necessary.
