All are welcome to join in for a Cloverpatch trail build day. We will be clearing corridor and cutting new trail to access the north bridge site.

Meet at 9 am at the Lowell Covered Bridge.

Wear appropriate gear for working in the woods, including sturdy shoes, long pants, gloves and a hardhat. Tools and hardhats will be supplied if needed. Bring some food and water to get you through the day. We will have light snacks and refreshments at the end of the workday. Hope to see you there.

Following up on all the great work completed on our recent “Dip & Drain” workparty, we’ll be working on the final lower Alpine section in need of some drainage maintenance from both north and south of the 683-road trail crossing.

This will be our last drainage maintenance effort on lower Alpine before expected snow levels make it impossible to access the areas that need our help most.

Of course, this workday is weather pending. Wear appropriate gear for working in the woods, including sturdy shoes, long pants, gloves and a hardhat. It will likely be cold and damp, so a pack with extra layers/gloves is advised. Tools and hardhats will be supplied if needed. Bring some food and water to get you through the day.

Whether you love hiking it or biking it – the Alpine Trail needs our love because it is so well loved. Winter is coming, and now that the rain has finally arrived, we can see where we need to focus on getting water off the tread, making sure we keep our dirt trails healthy and happy for next season! Please come out and join us for this special “dips and drains” session!
