June 14th 2021
Commenced 6:45 pm

  1. Public Forum: Ben: Road access is continuing at Moon. Black Oak Basin – two existing trails are
going to be adopted into the Master Plan. Tom: I got good info from those who built the
Redmond Pump Track. Just need a couple people to take the reigns. Frasier with Willamalane is
interested. I helped Jack on the new Thurston Hills trail. It’s really steep. Also updated some
trails in Trail Forks. Mark & Ogre also present. ATCA organization is working on the tie trail on the
ATCA trail from Cloverpatch back to Alpine (circumventing the gravel road climb).
  2. Position reports
    A. Chair (Lee): Ryan is close to getting the membership migrated to the new database. We got
the REI. Tap and Growler reached out to us to offer facilities for fundraiser or board
    meetings.
    B. Vice Chair (Ryan Comeau – not present, excused absence):
    C. Treasurer (Justin Price – not present, excused absence)
    D. Secretary (Jeff Green): Minutes posted.
    E. Trail Work (Peter O’Toole): Brush cutting is occurring at Whypass, especially on downhill
trails. Fire season starts this weekend. “Meaty Snack” is quite steep, work is on-going. The
City doesn’t want wood structures so need to meet and work out the construction of berms.
DoD should step in to pay Skye for some construction of those trails with City of Eugene.
    Trail building is slowing down.
    F. PR/Marketing (Isaac Johnson): Trying to tie in more sponsor shout-outs and thinking of
making new, original content for more regular posts. Go Pro videos of WP trails, a “Sunday
Brunch, Monday Fun Day, Throwback Tuesday, Tech Thursday, etc.”
