Well, the folks at BRMBA are having a trail work day just around the corner to get things back in order. Come on out this Saturday, March 13th. 9am lower parking lot. BYO: Mask, Rake, Gloves, Water, Food.
Up around Oakridge you can also ride these trails on an eBike:
Alpine (Including Chrome Toilet Section)/ Lawler/ Tire Mtn/Dead Mtn/ Larrison Creek.

That is such a great lap! With the current fire/smoke situation, not sure if you’ll be able to pull it off on the 12th. If not, let’s go later in the month or October.

Really sorry to hear about this. It’s a shame great public spots like Thurston become targets for criminals.

The comment period will close soon, but I don’t know when the BLM will make an official decision yet. When it happens, it’ll get posted up on the club sites. Riding ebikes at Whypass is a “grey area” right now. It’s not technically illegal, as BLM doesn’t have an official rule yet. I ride mine out there occasionally, and it’s a blast.
