Any time I park in a not so frequented area I will post this on white paper and tape to mirror or my dash written with a big black sharpie.

“THIS VEHICLE IS UNDER A HIDDEN CELLULAR ACTIVATED CAMERA WATCH

YOUR PHOTO HAS ALREADY BEEN TAKEN, I AM ON MY WAY!

MOVE ON,  YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! ”

I have never had an issue and have only had one photo taken from someone walking around my rig that was parked way up in the mtns. As soon as they saw the sign they boogied.

A cheap under $100 trail camera can add alot for your peace of mind and keep your stuff yours when parking out in the boonies.

Unfortunately it sucks that there is always the low life air sucking POS people out there that will break into cars if just given an opportunity.

    Roll on!

Once you go flats you’ll never go back, Much free-er riding and less crashes guranteed!

I got some Race face chesters (love them) at REI for pretty decent price, right now stuff’s on sale too!

any info would be appreciated as from what I heard the other day from a local biker its pretty much bunk for a while? is this true?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, that would be epic-groove-tac-ul-awesome to have a biking trail system up there. Lots of vertical and quick access.

Every time I head out that way I look over at that big’ ole hill sittin’ there I think to myself. “That is a great place to create some epic mt bike trails”

This area definitely needs more trails that are not 30-45 min drive to get to.

Back in the late 80’s early 90’s I learned from a couple early era Mt bikers that there were some interesting bootleg trails up there at one time.

So, is Capenter even worth the trip out to ride? I know its a dumb question because tails are trails and beats the pavement any day,,but you know, a dudes gotta ask! Otherwise I’ll just keep hitting T Hills and dialing lines there.

Hit this again Saturday 7/21, Trail is getting more worn in and also loose in some corners. Did an AM climb up the back side, its a long, 1/2-3+” rocks in places but more gentle grade than the front grunt.  Not so sure if the back side is worth the longer climb, or just to “embrace the suck” climbing the gravel multi use on the main side. Definitely NOT an afternoon climb up that back side in the bake of the sun.

Either way from the TH or the Albertsons end access, the STOKE on the DH is AWESOME!  Next trip I will GO-PRO the descent and post a vid link.

AND to whoever moved that HUGE rock off the trail on the back side of the jump on the upper part, of Yee Haw, thanks.

IHMO, im just a nobody but anyone taking their dog out of a trial ride in heat like we’ve been having the last 7 days is a friggin idiot! Great way to get their beloved dog overheated to the point of heat exhaustion. Never in a million years would I think to take my lab (well trained) out on a ride/run on Apline, much less just about any other well used MTB trail in Oakridge area. That’s just asking for trouble.  Roll on.

Myself and maybe a friend will be there!  So stoked on this. Will there be shuttle or anything, or is it a grunt and grin?
