    Holy smoke that’s a helluva wheelset! And prodeal priced! Sadly I’ve got too many irons in the fire right now to jump on it. But whoa! So cool.

    Hi Bob, good to hear from you, hope all is well. I don’t visit these forums as often anymore simply because I don’t enjoy DOD’s new website as much as I enjoyed the old one. I find this format clunky and less inviting, so I don’t hang here so much nowadays.

    To set your mind at ease, I’m not on FB, either.

    Let me know whenever you get back up here for a ride. Hope you’ve still got my email addy. 🙂 I propose an official “Bob Carlson Night Ride.” I’ll have to charge lights that haven’t been used since I retired 3.5 years ago. {gasp}

    Dang, I’ll miss it. Heading north to the Columbia Gorge to spend the holiday with my dad. Otherwise I’d be there for sure! Have fun, y’all.

    Well this is bad news indeed. On the other hand, maybe they do trailwork.

    I’m grateful to Oakshire for being DOD’s beer sponsor.

    Cynde & I spent Friday night in the Barbie campsite, it was nice to be in that wonderful place once again. As we passed through the town of Sisters on our way back to Eugene we stopped into the Sisters Ranger Station to let the USFS know that DOD would occupy the campsite once again this coming weekend. I made sure to let them know that DOD provides portapotties to protect the environment and that everyone involved is a zero impact camper.

    See you this coming weekend!

    I was down at Spence Mtn a couple weeks ago and agree it’s awesome. My group rode two days and camped at Eagle Ridge County Park on Shoalwater Bay over Memorial Weekend. Couple of us hit the double black line that heads from near the summit down to the bay — this trail has several totally hectic sections! The rock garden area near the bottom is jaw dropping amazing. But Spence has some terrific flowy sections and everything in between, too. Agree Spence offers something for everyone.
