Another great Thurston Hills ride, 13.4 miles. Up then down YewHaw and Acer, then back up over the top and down Camas Crest to Weyco Rd. Then North and up the power line cut and over the top again and hook up with the city streets. Down 71st to Main and back.

ParticipantSunday morning, great ride at Wild Iris. Not big area, not long ride 5.5 miles, but close in and very enjoyable. Start with 2 mile up hill bottom gear climb, then some fun and interesting old trails. If you’re not riding the close in trails, you are missing out.

ParticipantBeen getting in some good rides. Yesterday 10 miles at YPass, tried out the new jump run. Excellent job on building it, thank you guys. Today, 13 miles at Thurston. Rode up and came down YewHaw and Acer, rode up again, went over the top and down Camas Crest tho Weyco road, then up the old powerline trail and over the top to the city roads to main. Short run then to staging. My YT Izzo is an awesome bike.

I ride our 4 local ride areas and know them well. I prefer to ride local to save gas and time on the road. If you are interested in close in riding and don’t know where to go you can go with me.
