    Hi all…

I did a short ride on North Shore Trail last weekend. Just covered the first section before it hits the road. The blackberries are going nuts and encroaching quite a bit. There is also a lot of stuff that sure looks like poison oak…I thought for sure I was doomed to be covered with it, but came out with no itchy-pus-bubbly stuff…

Is there something up there that looks like poison oak but isn't?

No, that's the genuine article.  North Shore is notorious for bad PO in the summer time, which is why most of us only ride it in the winter (when the oak dies back.)
