My little guy is turning 7 next week and I'm looking for bike he can take on the trails. He's currently barely managing an old Trek Mountain Lion 20", but it's too heavy and too tall for him to manage off pavement. I'm looking for a lightweight, geared, 20 inch bike with low standover height. Anyone have any good suggestions or something outgrown sitting in the garage you're willing to sell?

I have a Marin Hidden Canyon 20" with v brakes and a Grind fork. It is an al frame. I also have a 24" Giant XTC SL jr, hydraulic disc brakes and a Suntour XCR air fork.
