Just want to let people know my car was broken into at the boat ramp on Northshore today.  I was hoping Kim’s last week was an unfortunate random act but sounds very similar.. broke the window and luckily all they took was my tote full of random parts and clothes. I let the police know as well. Was a great ride though;-)

Sounds like a good place for a bait car.  Sorry to hear it again.

Damn! Sorry it happened to you too, Matt. Maybe we should call the Army Corps and let them know that this is happening on their property. In the meantime I think I’ll be parking in downtown Lowell and adding on an extra mile of road rather than risk getting broken into again while riding North Shore.

Any time I park in a not so frequented area I will post this on white paper and tape to mirror or my dash written with a big black sharpie.

“THIS VEHICLE IS UNDER A HIDDEN CELLULAR ACTIVATED CAMERA WATCH

YOUR PHOTO HAS ALREADY BEEN TAKEN, I AM ON MY WAY!

MOVE ON,  YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! ”

I have never had an issue and have only had one photo taken from someone walking around my rig that was parked way up in the mtns. As soon as they saw the sign they boogied.

A cheap under $100 trail camera can add alot for your peace of mind and keep your stuff yours when parking out in the boonies.

Unfortunately it sucks that there is always the low life air sucking POS people out there that will break into cars if just given an opportunity.

      Roll on!

Life's too short not to Mt Bike.
