A bunch of us rode Alpine today from the RCB.  North Fork is in good shape with the same two trees that have been down for a few weeks now.  Snow starts on 1910 about a half mile up form the junction with Rd 683.  Some of the snow is rideable.  We walked for about a quarter mile and picked our way around the rest.  Windy Pass is snowed in, but we were able to ride on top of the hard snow to the trailhead.  The first climb on Alpine was clear, then there was patchy snow to the meadows. From the meadows down was really good.  A bit of work to get there, but worthwhile. Two trees down on Westfir Tie section…maybe a tree or two elsewhere.
