Ready for an Adventure? We’ve reserved three campsites at the Paradise Creek Campground (Information on campground) in Stevenson, Washington for the last weekend in August. We’ll be spending 4 days riding Mt. St, Helen’s, Plains of Abraham, Fall’s Creek, and Cold Creek Trails (Thrillium).
First come, first in. There’s a limited number of spots available.
Prepare yourself for 3 Days of Epic Pacific Northwest mountain biking. We arrive Friday night and enjoy a quiet meet and greet and camp.
Saturday morning we (self organize) an easy shuttle up to the top of Falls Creek trail and enjoy this fun 10 mile creek trail just a few miles from the camp site. In addition to great views and a fast, fun descent, there are lava tubes to explore near Falls Creek trail.
Sunday, we carpool up to the base of scenic Mount St. Helens and pedal up Ape Canyon trail to the epic volcano-scoured Plains of Abraham. This epic ride is one of the gems of the Pacific Northwest and should be on everyone’s PNW bucket-list. This ride has 2 options, the easier option is a 5-6 mile ride up to the Plains then returning down Ape Canyon trail. Stronger riders will probably want to ride out Windy Ridge and return on the more challenging Stevens Canyon Trail for a full 25 mile loop.
Monday morning, riders with legs left head south to the Cold Creek trails near Vancouver Washington and have the choice of hitting Cold Creek trail or hitting the jump lines on the fast and flowing Thrillium trail.
Fees: $20 – $55
All event fees will go to paying for camping, food, and beverages at the event.
This is a Disciples of Dirt Destination Ride
