Event Details

It’s that time of year again… when the summer has run its course and so has everyone else! Alpine Trail is in need of some #alpinelove. We’ll be focusing on the entire Alpine Trail to get it ready for winter.
Please join the Forest Service, Mountain Bike Oregon, & Alpine Epic to help put our beloved “crown jewel” to bed for the season.
We’ll shuttle to different areas of the trail system based on the number of volunteer teams and experienced leaders.
We’ll provide the “training” for those unfamiliar with trail maintenance techniques. All we need is your enthusiasm and commitment to getting the job done!
Of course, you’ll also need to:
• Dress for the weather (Bring raingear)
• Bring a pack with extra layers and water, gloves, and wear sturdy shoes that are appropriate for working in winter conditions
• Bring your own lunch & snacks
NOTE: We are hoping to get as many people as possible w/ their own packable tools that can ride in as well as be shuttled in to cover the entire trail. Bring your favorite trail tools if you have them – if not, our friends at GOATS will have you covered!
Please contact Daniella Crowder at 541-270-7969 with questions.
Afternoon brats & refreshments provided by Mountain Bike Oregon’s beverage sponsors Deschutes Brewery, Oakshire Brewery, and Rev. Nat’s Cider will be provided at Trans Cascadia.
