Join ATCA and Disciples of Dirt to help put the finishing touches on Dead Mountain Trail – Oakridge’s only purpose-built MTB trail (open to all users). We’ll spend the day on the lower Flat Creek section, above the first 2404 road crossing, carving out corners and “catcher’s mitts”, improving tread and drainage, and in general, moving lots of dirt and putting some shine on this amazing amenity before spring riding season is in full swing.

Meet at the Dead Mountain parking pull out at 10AM – from Oakridge, follow First Street out of town along Salmon Creek, just past the Flat Creek Work Center. The parking area will be on the left (north) side of the road, after FS2404. Bring your hard hat, favorite tools, snacks/lunch, water and please wear appropriate clothing for trail work and COLD WEATHER – beanies, warm gloves, sturdy boots that you can hike in, and warm layers.
