Due to logging activity, upper Dead Mountain Trail will close starting March 1st and is expected to stay closed through the end of May. If the logging continues into June, then the trail will be open on weekends only. The closure extends from the lowest 210 road crossing (the big switchback on Dead Mtn Road) to the top. The lower two thirds of the trail (the Flat Creek section) will remain open. Signs will be posted once the work begins.
