After an exhaustive review of the Disciples Of Dirt's relationship with IMBA, and listening to our membership's needs, interests and priorities the DOD's board of directors voted unanimously at the December meeting that remaining a chapter of IMBA was no longer in the best interest of the Lane County mountain biking community. As such, we voted to cease being a chapter of that organization. Going forward in 2018, we will operate as an independent mountain bike advocacy organization while also closely collaborating with other Oregon MTB organizations to best serve and represent our community's needs and goals, Many good things are on the horizon including the opening of the first urban MTB specific trails in Thurston, new opportunities in town and of course the best stoke in the business! There will be a change in how we manage our membership, but other than that you can count on the great trails, tons of stoke and accountable advocacy. Thank you for all that you do, Disciples. Please look for the changes to take effect in the first quarter of the new year.

I recognize that trail -- within a Wilderness area, right?

Nope, but so darn close to the Wilderness you could through a rock at it and not miss!
