I only get one day to play this weekend and it's Saturday. I'll be up to work on Moon Pt.

If anyone is in the same boat/raft/dingy and would like to split gas I can meet in Pleasant Hill. I'm in for all day. Get there early and leave late. I'll be rolling through PeeHill about 7:37. I will stop if I know others want to carpool.

I got a hall pass for both days.  I can carpool from PHill or LCC for those that want to camp Saturday night returning Sunday.

If I get no replys, I will drive straight through.

Hope we get a crowd.  The more the merrier.

I do have a plan for the weekend. Saturday we will do a head count and hand out tools, do a safety meeting and talk about what we need to do on the trail. The other part of the plan, with at least 8 people, 4 going to the top, 2 working a brusher and a rake, the other 2 with chainsaw and trail tools work their way down to the 435 rd, 2 more going in on the 435 rd and working up with trail tools, 2 working from the 21 rd and up. The more people that show up, we can add to the 4 groups. We should be able to do a lot of work and whatever we don't get we can clean up on Sunday. Sunday, I think will have to have some shuttle rides involved. We are going to need to check out our work, and make sure it rides well ; )

We have a free pass for Camping, the F. S. has waived our camp site fees for the weekend!, We can't take over the whole area, but we can take the less popular sites closer to the road. All depends on how many sites are available, either way pretty sweet deal!. Going to bring food, it will be of the campout variety, hot dogs, sandwhich material, such as sliced meats and cheeses and bread of course. P chips and snack stuff, uuhhmm BEER and other carbonated drinks. If you are on a special diet please bring what you need. Going to bring some firewood, if you have some firewood to throw in, that would be great. We are also bringing out the GOATS trailer with a lot of tools, should be able to outfit everybody, but, if you have your own, please bring them.

Getting stoked! the weather looks great and the dirt will have some moisture in it!

On sunday I think we can make time for some Shuttlin'

See you there!!

There's still room for one butt and tools...but you gotta say you want the room or I'm not stopping.

Damn folks...we did some good work up there yesterday! We had a good turnout. Tons of folks from the valley drove up to meet a couple OROR locals and we did a whole lot of digging and problem solving. There were some snafu type things happening (two flat tires on the same truck; two busted terrahoe blades) but spirits were high and bodies were tired when we rallied back at camp about 5 in the evening. Cold sodas and good conversations were going around until a few of us had to leave the campers for home.

Thanks a whole friggin' bunch to everyone who came and dug!

Ditto what Brock said.  Thanks for all the QUALITY help.  We are getting better as a group.  More skilled and more efficient and it showed.  Moon Point was transformed.  Still a bit of work to do, but it is in better shape than I have ever seen it!!
